DG or Daily Geography is based on the 18 National Geography Standards & we use them almost daily throughout the school year. Each Monday students are given a map which is their responsibility to keep it in the History Folder so they have each available for each day of the week. When students come to class each day, there are 2 questions up on board that they are to do using their map...they are given 8 minutes to do two problems. We check them the same day in class & a percentage is given to them immediately.
If students receive less than a 50% on a DG, they are allowed to redo it within the following day (on their own time...this means before/after school or during their lunch time...Working Lunch). They are NOT allowed to redo it doing class time.
